SVGcinema runs in your browser. There is no account, no cookies, and your projects never go to us. We count visits and which features get used, anonymously, so we know what to make better.
What stays on your machine
Your projects, their images and your settings are kept in this browser and in the files you save. Nothing you make is sent to us: not the artwork, not file or layer names, not text, not your design agent chats or API keys.
What we count
We use Umami, a privacy-first analytics service, on svgcinema.com only, with its data kept in the EU. It sets no cookies, keeps no IP addresses and can’t follow you across sites. If your browser asks sites not to track it (Do Not Track), nothing is counted at all. It tells us:
Counted
- visits and the pages viewed
- that the editor was opened, a project was started, opened or saved, and a file was exported (and what kind: SVG, video, GIF, image)
- which features were used, such as morphing or bones
- downloads of the player, the thumbnail installers and the Claude skill
- help topics, searches in help, and guided tours
- with any visit: country and region, browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language, and the site that linked here
Never sent
- your projects, artwork or images
- file names, layer names, text you type
- design agent prompts, chats or API keys
- anything from the SVGs you export
- your IP address, or anything that names you
No cookies
Neither the website nor the editor sets cookies. Umami tells visits apart with an anonymous code it works out on its side and doesn’t keep, so there is nothing to accept or decline. Your projects and settings are kept in your browser’s own storage, for you, and never sent.
Your exported files
The SVGs you export contain no analytics and call no one. With the external player, the browser of whoever views the file loads the player from jsDelivr, whose own privacy terms apply to that download.
The design agent
When you use the agent with your own key, your requests go straight from your browser to the provider you chose, under that provider’s terms. SVGcinema has no server in between.
